Sweet Sixteen (7/28–8/11)

Two weeks in one! Let's see what happened

Two Weeks in One!

This post was initially for 7/28–8/3, but there wasn't enough happening (and I was otherwise occupied) so we decided to make a mega two week long Fyra This Week. Let's get going!

Rough Terrain

Owen packaged some Raspberry Pi utilities, like the bookshelf, piclone (for cloning SD cards) and Raindrop (for configuring displays). He also (finally) finished the coreboot-utils package.

Chromebook Hackers: utilities like cbmem and ectool are moving into the coreboot-utils package, you should automatically be migrated to the new package.

Mado got Bazzite's Mesa patches up to date with Kyle.

June packaged Signal desktop in Terra. Hopefully it'll be a bit more stable than the Flatpak (and it runs on ARM!)

Roachy and Mado kept up with the usual maintenance, and Lea started to play with Azure runners.

Just Chromin'

9lore moved ARM DTB patches into the Submarine kernel, and updated to 6.12.

Flowing Back

Cappy refactored Backflow's message queue, improving latency.

Marine that is Ultra

Owen and Jaiden continued working on 42 ISOs and bootc images, we're getting through a couple more bugs before they're ready for the limelight so stay tuned.

I Took a Walk

Elly and MrChromebox debugged a StarBook Mk VI.

Jaiden, June, Lea, and Owen visited the windy city!

That's all! Thanks so much for your patience over the last two weeks! Thank you everyone I missed, and who I didn't. So long and thanks for all the fish!
