Nose to the Grindstone (5/5–5/11)

It's finals season, but that doesn't mean we stop! Here's what happened in the community this week:

EXTRA BIG LIGHTNING ROUND (By Lightning Round Standards)

Mado worked on the usual bug fixes and cleanups in Readymade—I wonder what he does with the bugs after removing them.

Nova was hard at work on more improvements to multi-GPU systems in StereoKit (the underpinning of Stardust). Since this is a massive issue, Nova began working on Vulkan support in the meantime.

Renato translated Readymade into Brazilian Portuguese.

Oops, All Roaches

Roachy did a lot this week, here's a list:

Made FFmpeg builds track VVenc.

Fixed VVenc builds.

Packaged the sphinxcontrib-moderncmakedomain, shibuya, and fast-colorthief Python libraries.

Fixed Mesa, again.

Cleaned up Nvidia packages and is working on nvidia-open support.

Specfile fixes for Zig, LCEVCdec, libde265, and kommiku.

I Took a Walk

This is a new feature I'm playing with. Self care is important, so let's see what our community has been doing when not working.

Phene took a walk.

Jaiden had a nice boba ice cream.

boba ice cream

You may be asking why I (Jaiden) wasn't in the rest of this post, to answer, I'm in business major purgatory right now, I have spent 25 hours in Excel this last week, please save me.

Small Week

Sometimes we have weeks like this, where the gears keep turning, but nothing major (or sometimes non-confidential) happens. It's just a part of life when you work the way we do.

Thank you so much to anyone who I missed, and good luck on your finals everyone!

So long and thanks for all the fish.
