Running Out of Titles (6/30–7/6)

I am running out of ideas on how to titles these, but the community is still chock-full of ideas, let's see what they got up to this week.

Yes, I know this post is late, I'm a person too and I get very tired!!

Third Planet from the Sun

Mado fixed Madoguchi, our API for querying Terra, he also fixed the u-root and Nerd font packages.

Owen added bmpblk_utility, flashrom-cros(-devel), and fixed rpi-utils and gsctool.

Roachy packaged the backport tool we use for Terra, which ironically had to be installed by contributors through NPM. This also lead him to begin working on NodeJS macros, which should be very useful!

The Aforementioned Sun

Schmarni and Nova got closer on Bevy support in Stardust!

Elly ported Linux to the Lynx R1! This is a massive deal and a first for the Linux and VR communities. We're very excited to see what this new form-factor can do!

LIGHTNING ROUND

Mado and Cappy worked on improving EROFS support in Stratum.

Mado begun work on Netto, a WiFi applet in Helium and Nim. This also means libnm.nim, NetworkManager bindings for Nim.

Tree is putting the finishing touches on unifying the Mediatek Chromebook kernels.

Jade racked up her servers! Midwestern mirrors (courtesy of nulled) are coming!

Jaiden started working on improvements to the migration script, and wrote even more advisories (two more coming Jul 8).

I Took a Walk

Tree paid a visit to some great lakes.

The Twin Cities Gang (Jaiden, June, and Owen) played with fireworks!

Buy Us a Round!

You may have noticed that some of us mentioned in this post have GitHub Sponsors set up. If you appreciate what they do, and wanna support them, please consider throwing them a couple bucks!

If you wanna contribute to Fyra Labs at large, take a peek at our sponsors page, or email ihaveachromebookidontwant@fyralabs.com to organize a hardware donation.

That's All

That's it! Thank you to everyone I did and didn't forget. I'm fresh out of fish this time, so consider buying me one so I can say "so long and thanks for all the fish."
