Or not, GLaDOS is the liar, a lot happened this week, let's take a look:
The Lab Boys Tell Me
Oh my dear reader, it's Jaiden, and I'm out of our usual style here to ask if you've heard the good news.
Some will tell you they're our lord and saviour, others will say they're the devil incarnate. Despite the introduction, I think they're not quite there yet, but important as hell to our future.
Now you're probably wondering what I'm even talking about, well dear reader, it's bootable containers! A way to package a Linux system up as an OCI artifact. It's clean, and efficient, and builds on the ideas of OSTree that we liked for tauOS (which is Schrodinger's OS right now, more on that soon) while improving heavily on the distribution model.
We've been working a little bit on bootc in Ultramarine, and have had it booting for a little while. Here's Tree trying it out:

Well this week, I've started working on making the images actually usable, we aren't going to the level of boutique customized images our friends at Universal Blue are known for, but I think what we have is pretty neat too.
I haven't pushed anything yet, but local testing proves promising, and I hope to have something you can try out next week. Stay tuned, and back to the usual style.
Companion Cube
9lore and Elly were at the Gulaschprogrammiernacht (Goulash Programming Nights) in Karlsruhe, where they continued their work on U-Boot for Mediatek Chromebooks.

You should check out their awesome Fedi accounts for more!
Tree continued his work on croskbd, a lighter, single-use tool for remapping Chromebook keyboards.
At Least You're a Good Jumper
In the opposite direction of Tree's work, Cappy created Backflow, which allows you to map non-HID inputs into HID inputs. This is a really neat and quite useful project, so expect a full writeup soon!
70 Million Worth of Moon Rock
Roachy, per usual, did too many things to mention. Most notably, adding falcond (a replacement for Gamemode) and Protontricks to Terra, among the usual fixes with Mado.
Owen worked on packaging Death's Chrultrabook Tools in Terra.
Want You Gone
(Normally, I Took a Walk)
A gremlin (Nova) shot a gun. [1]

Tree attempted to fix a Braswell Chromebook

Leila (from our Discord, who hasn't given me a link) went to a concert.

Owen reorganized his room!

And that's it! Bit of an all-over week. I'm personally in the middle of nowhere again (Michigan this time) and working hard on Fyra things I can't share here, so a bit lighter for me. Per usual, thank you to anyone I missed and everyone I didn't, and so long and thanks for all the fish!
